For all active branches of NANM, branch assessments are due by December 31st. You may complete the assessment form and pay the appropriate dues detailed in the sections below.  You can direct all questions regarding branch assessments to Robert Price, NANM Executive Secretary.  If submitting your assessment via mail, please make your money order or cashier's check payable to NANM, Inc. and mail with the completed worksheet to:

Adult Branch Assessment

Senior Branches (comprised of individual Adult Memberships) may be affiliated with NANM, Inc. through proper application to the Regional Director and shall be endorsed with fulfillment of the necessary financial obligations sent to the NANM Executive Secretary.  Said branch must have at least ten (10) members. Current fees for Senior Branches and individual members are:​

• New Branch Charter Fee: $25 (if applicable)

• Annual Branch Assessment: $300 (waived for the first year of a new branch)

• Annual Adult Member Dues: $60 per member (excludes Life Members)

• Local Branch Dues: To be determined by the local branch (includes Life Members)

Collegiate Young Artist Branch Assessment

A CYA branch may become affiliated with NANM, Inc. with the proper application to the Regional Director of the Region in which the school is located.  All Campus Branches are under the supervision of the National Campus Coordinator, appointed by the President with the approval of the Board of Directors.  The joining fee and annual dues shall be set by the Board of Directors.  The Campus branches are under the local supervision of a faculty member who is a bona fide member of NANM, Inc. or whomever the Regional Director designates.  While a student at the undergraduate or graduate level may be an adult (at least twenty-one (21) years of age), he/she usually maintains Campus Branch status until he/she graduates or is no longer a student at a college or university.  Current fees for Collegiate Branches and individual members are:​

• New Branch Charter Fee: $25 (if applicable)

• Annual Branch Assessment: $100 (waived for the first year of a new branch)

• Annual Collegiate Member Dues: $25 per member

• Local Branch Dues: To be determined by the local branch

Youth/Junior Branch Assessment

A Youth/Jr branch may become affiliated with NANM, Inc. through proper endorsement of the Director of the Youth Division and so endorsed, with the fulfillment of the necessary financial obligations sent to the Executive Secretary.  A Youth Branch may be established and accredited upon conforming with the rules of the Senior Branch (Youth and Junior Branches must be affiliated with a local Senior Branch as its sponsoring organization) with the exception of lower rates and lower age limit. The joining fee plus annual dues are set by the Board of Directors.  The age limit for Youth Branch members is thirteen (13) through eighteen (18) years of age.  Youth Branch members are entitled to full voting privileges in National elections provided said members are financial with the National Association of Negro Musicians, Inc. as well as with his/her Youth Branch.  Current fees for Youth Branches and individual members are:​

• New Branch Charter Fee: $25 (if applicable)

• Annual Branch Assessment: $50 (waived for the first year of a new branch)

• Annual Youth/Junior Member Dues: $25 per member

• Local Branch Dues: To be determined by the local branch

Affiliate Branch Assessment

Affiliate Branches are comprised of established organizations.  Current fees for Affiliate Branches and individual members are:​

• New Branch Charter Fee: $25 (if applicable)

• 3-6 Members: $100

• 10-25 Members: $150

• 26+ Members: $250

• Collegiate Affiliates: $150

• Primary/Secondary School Affiliates: $100

 

Special Assessment

​Life Membership: $2,000 (to be paid in full, or in installments)
